DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Two people are charged in a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred in several east Dothan neighborhoods.

Investigators say they apprehended 21-year old Nhayquan Travone Bethel and 23-year old Shantoria Lashaey Owens on Thursday. Both reside at Walker's Deluxe Motel, near where the break-ins occurred.
Police identified Bethel with the use of surveillance video.
“Investigators conducted a search warrant of the (motel) room and vehicle belonging to the two suspects and recovered property taken from the recent break-ins. The property recovered included several firearms, purses, and wallets belonging to the victims,” Dothan police said in a statement.
At least 15 thefts were reported in Hidden Lakes subdivision, Beverlye Crossing Apartments, and Brookhill Drive areas in the past few days.
Bethel and Owens face 14 counts of Breaking and Entering with more charges possible.
