Dothan, Ala. (WTVY)-- Several dozen folks came out to Landmark Park this weekend to take part in the annual honey extraction workshop.

It was hosted by the Wiregrass Bee Keepers and Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Those who attended got a chance to watch as honey from the hives was extracted from the comb and bottled.

Organizers say there's such a demand for local honey these days' it's hard to keep in stock.
