Dothan Civic Center & Opera House take precautions against Coronavirus
Coronavirus is causing some people to rethink outings in public places, but the Dothan Civic Center & Opera House is doing its part to calm fears about the disease.
Whether its wiping down door handles, sanitizing elevator buttons or cleaning arm rests and railings, custodians are making sure you enjoy your show without fear catching any germs.
And while faculty and staff are taking Coronavirus seriously, they say cleanliness is a priority year round.
“We have hand sanitizing stations that are located throughout the Civic center and the Opera House for our events, said Director of Performing Arts at the Dothan Civic Center & Opera House, Marshall Perry.
“For events, we make sure we have them backstage as well. We also make sure there's plenty of soap and water and paper towels and the places to throw those paper towels away, and our staff is very diligent in making sure that everything is clean and well kept,” Perry said.
So far, no cancellations are expected at the Dothan Civic Center and Opera House.
However, if you choose not to attend a performance, be advised there is a no refund, no exchange policy.
