Dothan City School parents learn more about code of conduct

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Dothan City School parents heard a little more about revisions to the code of conduct Tuesday.

Director of Safety, Security and Attendance Scott Faulk held several meetings throughout the day.

Some of the topics included penalties, bus schedules, and uniform policy.

Now that he's informed parents about the "proposed" code of conduct, he's bringing it before the school board for approval on June 20th.

"The code of conduct - they'll be some upset parents, but it's fine,” said Dothan City School Parent Linda Merritt. “I agree with it, but some won't."

One parent asked about changes to the cell phone usage policy.

Faulk said he and the committee have not decided, but he plans on holding another meeting for parents when they do.
