Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a Sunday night fire in Dothan that destroyed 2-semi-truck trailers. No one was injured.

The trailers were sitting behind Barber Dairy on Hodgesville Road, but are not owned by the dairy business. Firefighters say they've been trying to locate the owners.

Dothan fire investigators say construction materials stored next to trailers somehow caught fire and it spread to the trailers.

Kimberly Sikes who owns a nearby daycare was worried about the fire spreading to her daycare.

"I have a lot of employees who live here locally that came up and checked it out for me, so I was very grateful that it didn't get close to the daycare, and I was very happy no one was next door working,” said Sikes.

It took firefighters less than 30 minutes to put the fire out
