DALEVILLE, Ala. (WTVY) -- The Daleville VFW kicked off their Memorial Day Weekend with a new experience.
They had a "Celebration of Life for those Who Gave All."
The event started at 2 p.m. and had a few bands play throughout the rest of the day.
It had a short delay due to rain, but the show did go on.
The VFW also had crawfish available for the crowd and plenty of space for people to get out of the house and enjoy music.
"We've all been kind of cooped up inside with all the stuff that's going on in the world, so it's kind of important to get out with this being Memorial Day weekend too,” Andrew Morris, Post Junior Vice, Daleville VFW. “It's typically the kickoff of summer and a lot of people are stuck here and can't go to the beach.”
The Daleville VFW will have a Memorial Day ceremony early Monday morning.
