Dale County, AL (WTVY) Dale county engineers are asking that you take extra caution if you plan to drive on County Road 563.
Area alongside Dale County Road 563 washed out.
Over the past year, the road has suffered from "believed" ground water issues. Initial findings show the damage is a direct result of heavy rain, causing the road to completely wash out.
As rain makes its way to the area over the next couple of days, concerns are growing from area homeowners, who say the road is a dangerous hazard.
The Dale County Road and Bridge Department have been working to install barriers along the road, to prevent cars from sliding into the ditch.
County engineers plan to start working on the road next week.
