According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, Cam'ron Lewis, 16, was driving a stolen vehicle Sunday when he was spotted by two sheriff's deputies. They say he then fled down Brentwood Road, a dead end road.

Deputies say Lewis drove through a wooden privacy fence, was airborne, and drove through the backyard of several townhomes. He took out some fences before getting wedged and fleeing on foot.

According to the report, deputies tracked him down several hours later and charged him with grand theft of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.

They say Lewis told them he sped off because he didn't want to go to jail.
