DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- County commissioners are asking citizens to fill out a survey to help them improve problems around the Wiregrass.
The survey consists of five questions asking the public what's important to them according to where they live.
One issue commissioner Brandon Shoupe says he is seeing a lot of responses for is road work.
The price of road work is up to $70 million.
“It’s important we keep a tap on what the people are thinking when we're trying to decide these tough issues. There are some tough issues coming up I know the schools need more resource officers. Resource officers don't work for free so that requires more tax dollars and were already stretched pretty thin." says Houston County District Four Commissioner Brandon Shoupe.
The survey will be open for two weeks then after that, he will share the results of the survey and how the county commissioners can go about fixing the more pressing issues.
