(NBC News Channel) - Circuit City plans to relaunch online next month, with stores on the horizon.
Electronics giant Best Buy is interested in the former Circuit City building on Westover Boulevard, although those involved in negotiations say there is still ground to cover before they relocate.
The site will include high-tech features such as augmented reality and tech support through video chat.
The CEO announced at the Consumer Electronics Show that Circuit City will launch its website on February 15.
The once-bankrupt retailer also has plans to open kiosks, stores within other stores, and eventually its own showrooms.
The company tried to operate on line after closing its doors in 2009, but that venture folded in 2012.
