So let's see, Why'd the duck cross the road?

That's what people asked on social media after seeing this video.

Somehow a inflatable duck got loose and made it's rolling debut down the street in Des Moines, Iowa Thursday.

The duck - named Quacky- belongs to YESS, Youth Emergency Services and Shelter - which provides shelter for youth in crisis or in the juvenile court system.

The organization holds an annual fundraiser called the Duck Derby with about 42,000 rubber ducks.

Organizers say the duck got a head start but no worries, Quacky didn't ruffle any feathers - and they want everyone to know "community support is the wind behind his wings."
