Body found near Dale Co. road in March identified as missing Skipperville woman

The Dale County Sheriff’s Office says a body found near East County Road 36 March 18th has been identified as the body of Virginia Sellers of Skipperville.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences identified the body using DNA comparison.
Virginia “Ginger” Sellers Skipperville was last seen November 12th walking along Highway 105 in Skipperville and was reported missing a few weeks later.
This is still an ongoing homicide investigation. The cause of death has not been released.
The Dale County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Dothan and Ozark Police Departments and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Crime Lab in Quantico, VA.
