WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTVY) — Tuesday Florida Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to a vehicle fire on Interstate 10, in Walton County. The driver of the truck was identified as Larry D. Duck from Alma, Georgia.

During the cleanup of the vehicle fire, the owners of the trailer P&M Trucking Inc were contacted. They advised that there were none of their drivers in the area and that the truck pulling the trailer did not match any vehicle that the company owns. The owners of the trailer further advised that they did not do business with that company and wanted to report the trailer stolen.

Coffee County, Georgia Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the trailer was stolen and assisted with the investigation. Duck was subsequently arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail for Felony Grand Theft.
