Attorney General addresses policing at AL law enforcement conference

ORANGE BEACH, AL -- (WTVY) Attorney General Jeff Sessions was in Alabama today, Sept. 1, speaking on policing in America.
Sessions said his office will never give in to "thoughtless criticism" of law enforcement and that all americans should give them the respect they deserve.
He made his remarks as the keynote speaker at the 30th annual Law Enforcement Conference at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach.
"Some would undermine support given to law enforcement by portraying our officers as the problem, as even an enemy instead of recognizing that officers and prosecutors work to prosecute and officer that commits crimes or violates civil rights."
The United States Attorney's Offices for the southern, northern, and middle districts of Alabama sponsored the conference.
