Ashley Homestore is committing to serve 10,000 hot meals to essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ashley’s ‘Feed the Fight’ program hopes to bolsters morale for health care professionals and first responders.

The company choosing local restaurants to cater these meals is also helping those workers and businesses that the crisis has hit financially.

The Dothan, Enterprise and 19 other stores are a part of the pledge to help communities in the southeastern region during the month of April.

“They’re out there working for us and we wanted to do something to give it back to them. It’s not a lot but you know it means we’re thinking about them and want to help out as much as possible,” says Dothan store manager Elizabeth Jordan.

Meals have already been delivered to the Dothan Police Department, Geneva County Police Department, Geneva Sheriff’s Office, and Enterprise Hospital.
