Author talks about Alabama's forgotten places
The objects of the present are quickly becoming our past.
That is why Forgotten Alabama author Glenn Wills spends his time capturing what might soon vanish.
He has snapped more than 40,000 photos around the state, showing some of the state's most iconic images.
His interest first peaked in college when he saw old black and white photos.
Now he takes these photos for us to remember and reminisce.
"A lot of the stuff that I've shot no longer exists. Sometimes I wonder if I was the last person to document that this ever existed. And I really think that's the case more times than not," said Wills.
