The Alabama Humanities Foundation is bringing it's celebration of the state's bicentennial to the Wiregrass.

The travelling exhibit, called "Making Alabama" celebrates the state's 200 year history.

The exhibit shows Alabama's journey towards statehood and the people responsible for it.

It's on display at the Rudd Art Museum in Downtown Ozark.

Mary Opiary drove from Dothan to see the exhibit, and she tells us people might find a little more than just Alabama history.

She says, "Everyone should come and see this because you can really learn not just about the history, but you can also learn about yourselves. Where you came from and how we all got here."

The exhibit will be in Ozark until June 23rd, then it will be in Coffee County in July and in Houston County in December.
