(NBC News Channel) -- A new Taiwanese study suggests music could benefit patients with breast cancer.

Researchers had 60 women with the disease listen to music at home for 30 minutes, five times a week.

They found music therapy reduced the severity of their symptoms and pain intensity, within just a few weeks.

Their physical and mental fatigue improved right away.
