GULF COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The red tide is still among us, according to officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

A report released by the FWC Wednesday says the concentration levels in Northwest Florida remain as they were last week.

Areas of Bay County are seeing low to medium levels and Santa Rosa County is seeing a very low level.

There have been reports, however, of dead fish and respiratory irritation in Bay, Gulf, and Walton counties.

The next red tide update is set to be released Friday.
