Landmark Park airs educational movies

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) Learn something new this summer while enjoying the great outdoors. Landmark Park is hosting their educational movie series until the end of August.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., the park will air a movie for families in their interpretive center. The movies are 30 minutes each and are nature and science oriented. The movies are free with your paid gate admission, which is $4 for adults, $3 for kids, and free for park members.

“Your gate admission gets you into the park for as long as you’d like to stay for the day,” said Laura Stakelum, Landmark Park’s Public Relations Director. “We encourage people to take in the movie and then enjoy our boardwalk, our nature trails, and the farm and the playground.”
