3 arrested after child found in Phenix City daycare closet

Three day care workers have been arrested in Phenix City after a mother says her son was mistreated.
Sydney Zimmerman says she arrived early at the day care -- which was run out of someone's home -- only to find that her 22-month-old son Slade had been placed in a dark closet while strapped in a car seat.
Zimmerman says, "It was pure anger and disgust and hurt. I mean, just looking at him when he's crying, red-faced and crying, and he's in a car seat in a closet, and the first thing he says when he sees me is, "Mama." It's just... I mean, words can't hardly describe it."
The three women who were arrested are Cynthia Duman, Mary Parette, and Jennifer Parette.
Each charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
They've been released on bond.
