OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) -- Bull riding and barrel racing are just days away.
The 25th annual South Alabama Pro Rodeo Classic will be at the Dale County Ag-Plex in Ozark.
Dale County Rodeo Association President Robert Dyson says it is the single-largest event for the city.
The rodeo has a week-long set up that started on Sunday.
The rope work is all from volunteer labor and all the money earned goes back into the arena.
"It takes a lot to take on a rodeo this size,” said Dale County Rodeo Association President Robert Dyson. “We got the crass cut, the parking lot leveled so no pot holes or anything in it, wet the arena down and get it good and wet so it won't be dusty and all for the rodeo, blowing off the apron and all today."
The gates open Friday at 6 p.m. and the shows start at 8 on Friday and Saturday.
