DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- It was another record-breaking year for the National Peanut Festival.
News 4's Cynthia Washington took a trip on all the rides of the 70th National Peanut Festival.
Festival President Jason Rudd says as of Saturday night, 200,000 people came through the gates.
That's 22,000 additional guests compared to 2016 when they recorded 180,000 fair-goers.
The numbers include non-scanned attendees like kindergarten day, senior citizens day, special citizens day, and children under the age of 5.
