Suspects, victim identified in deadly Elba shooting
ELBA, Ala. (WTVY) - The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office have now identified the victim of a deadly overnight shooting in Elba, as well as two of three people arrested in connection with the incident.
Sheriff Scott Byrd confirmed to News4 that the victim, 24-year-old Ethan Christopher Hill of Elba, was shot in the 1400 block of Jones Street. Once arriving on scene, first responders found Hill suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at around 11:05 p.m.
Three suspects were sought by law enforcement following the shooting, with all three captured as confirmed by the City of Elba at 12:57 p.m. on Thursday. Two of those suspects were identified as 31-year-old Freddie Junior Mcgee Jr. of Enterprise and 52-year-old Alena Michelle McGhee of Elba.

Both identified suspects have been charged with murder. The third suspect was identified as a 17-year-old juvenile by Byrd, and as a result additional info on them won’t be released.
Coffee County Coroner Arnold Woodham said that Hill’s body has been sent to the Montgomery Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
