DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Travelers heading into Dothan from Geneva County need to be aware of a repaving project on Hwy 52.

The Alabama Department of Transportation began repaving Hwy 52 from the Hwy 605/Brannon Stand Road intersection to the Ross Clark Circle on Monday. The project is expected to run until the Fall of 2021.

ALDOT says motorists should be mindful of workers and equipment when traveling through the construction zone and follow the posted speed limit.  Travel delays can be expected as there will be lane closures throughout the project.
