Judge denies lower bond for sex crime suspect

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - A Houston County judge Thursday morning rejected a child sex crime suspect’s plea to lower his bond.
Stephen Tyler Herring faces four charges of molesting a child under the age of 12.
He is jailed on $240,000 bond that his attorney claims Herring is unable to post.
Herring who is from the Wicksburg area was arrested Monday.
