ASHFORD, Ala. (WTVY) - We are less than one month away from the annual Ashford Downtown Spring Fling and Music Festival.

The city will close off Broadway Street from the historic train depot down to City Hall, specifically for the event. The annual festival will be held on Saturday, March 13th.

Ten local bands and nationally-known groups will be performing, along with the Ashford High School Jazz Band.

Downtown shops and restaurants will be offering sales and specials. There will also be vendors, a cornhole tournament, car shows, and a petting zoo.

“This will be our fourth year. And what we wanted to create was a family-friendly event to bring people downtown, not only to show what Ashford has to offer, but to give families the opportunity to enjoy time together,” Kim Vann, Executive Director of the Ashford Downtown Redevelopment Authority, said.

The event will run from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Parking will be available at the high school, History Train Depot parking lot, ACOM Medical Center, and the side streets around downtown.
