Dothan Communications Center experiencing phone line problems; 911 phone lines are operational

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah says The Dothan Communications Center is currently experiencing problems with its non-emergency phone lines.

Judah says to expect a temporary outage for a short amount of time. 911 phone lines are fully operational.

If you have non-emergency for services, you can call the Houston County Communications Center instead, where call-takers are standing by. The number is 334-677-4807.

This outage is expected to be resolved in quick fashion and an update will be sent when the service is restored.

In the event of a life-or-death emergency, crime in progress or fire please call 911.
