Dothan police have charged one man and anticipate arresting others in a murder case that involves the shooting of a man over the weekend.

19-year old Christian D. McCallister was arrested in Montgomery, either late Monday, after an all-points bulletin had been issued. He lists a Dothan address but also ties in Montgomery

McCallister is charged with murdering 20-year old Willis Rambo, shot numerous times along a Dothan street Sunday afternoon. Police believe that shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute.

Court records indicate that McCallister is on bond and awaiting trial on vehicle breaking and entering charges and is also awaiting trial on two Montgomery County drug charges.

“Our investigators are working relentlessly to bring this case to a conclusion. We will continue to pursue all leads that will likely lead to other arrests,” Dothan Police Lieutenant Scott Owens told WTVY.
