TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) - Tampa International Airport and Attorney General Ashley Moody announced a campaign to combat human trafficking ahead of the Super Bowl.

Airport officials announced that they will be partnering with the “It’s a penalty” campaign and will be using signs to warn folks of the signs of human trafficking and what to look out for, as well as what to do if you suspect you may have encountered a trafficking victim.

The group “It’s a penalty” works to create advertisements around major events to bring awareness to human trafficking. The Super Bowl is one of the largest human trafficking events in the world and this year, it’s coming to Tampa.
