Showers and Thunderstorms on the Way

SYNOPSIS – Some light showers have fallen from the cloudy to mostly cloudy skies across the Wiregrass this afternoon. Rain chances will continue to be on the increase overnight tonight and through the day on Friday. A few of those storms have the potential to be strong to severe, with isolated damaging winds being the primary concern. A few showers hang around on Saturday before we start to turn sunnier and cooler by the end of the weekend and the start of next week. Highs will fall from the 70s to the upper 50 and lower 60s, with lows falling from the middle 60s to the upper 30s and lower 40s.
TONIGHT – Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low near 65°. Winds SE at 5-15 mph.
TOMORROW – Thunderstorms, some potentially strong. High near 71°. Winds S at 10-15 mph
