DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - With a first of it’s kind event for the city, Ozark’s New Years Eve event will feature live music from David Martin and The Brown Goose Band. Along with food trucks to crave your hunger during the festivities.

LilliMags Butts and Beverages along with the Benchmark Beer and Wine Garden are sponsors of this event and have events planned within their businesses for attendees to check out.

After all of the uncertain 2020 has held, organizers say this event will be one way to enjoy some safe and enjoyable family fun for the new year

“It’s going to be a lot of fun there is going to be a lot of good things going on of course we are going to be social distancing also but we’re just trying to bring a taste of normalcy right now to what’s been going on so it is going to be a great event for the entire community and we definitely want everybody to come out and see us,” said John Sanders - Board Member of Wiregrass Arts and Music Association.

Hand sanitizers stations will be readily available

The event begins at 7pm and will run until midnight. It is free to get in and is open to all ages.

There will also be smores and games for the kids and whole family to enjoy.
