DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - It’s National College Football Signing Day for the Class of 2021.

Dothan seniors Jayden Folmar and Bauer Sharp signing the dotted line today.

Both going to Division I schools in the fall and staying in the South.

Wide receiver Jayden Folmar is going to Rice University in Houston, TX.

Folmar caught 45 passes for 750 yards and seven touchdowns as a Senior and racked up over 1,400 yards and 15 receiving touchdowns in his career at Dothan.

Wolves’ starting quarterback Bauer Sharp will be at Southeastern Louisiana in the fall.

He finished the season with over 1,000 passing yards and eight touchdowns.

Covid-19 making this a unique year for these guys, especially when it comes to recruiting.

Both Folmar and Sharp expressing their gratefulness for the opportunities in front of them.

”It’s really exciting knowing I worked all these years working for this,” Folmar said. “You know, and finally throughout the Covid situation for the coaches to come around. This has been an exciting piece of my life and I’m ready to move on to the next level.”

Sharp adding, “I’m just blessed to have an offer during this hard time, during this pandemic of Covid. Just blessed by them, that they could offer me and I could sign with them.”

Folmar and Sharp were joined by family, friends and teammates today to celebrate their accomplishments.
