UPDATE: Arrest made in Santa Fe Arson Investigation

ENTERPRISE, AL. (WTVY) -
UPDATE: The Enterprise Police Department has made an arrest in the Santa Fe arson investigation. On November 24, 2020, at 4:00 PM, EPD Detectives arrested and charged Paul Anthony Wilson, age 54, of Enterprise, AL with Arson 2nd degree and Burglary 3rd degree. Wilson was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
The Enterprise Police Department would like to thank the State Fire Marshal’s Office for their assistance in this investigation.
A fire early Tuesday severely damaged the entrance to Santa Fe Cattle Company, a popular Enterprise restaurant.
Flames reached so far into the sky they could be seen from miles away as firefighters furiously attempted to save the building.
According to the Enterprise Police Department, the business was burglarized before the fire started.
EPD Lieutenant Billy Haglund says surveillance footage showed a suspect wearing a gray hoodie breaking into the business and stealing money.
EPD Detectives and Alabama State Fire Marshals will be conducting a joint criminal investigation for arson.
