HEADLAND, Ala. (WTVY) - When it comes to college baseball, maybe no team in recent history has had more success than the Vanderbilt Commodores. Four College World Series appearances and two national championships since 2011. Well, Bryce Cunningham is about to join that winning tradition.

Cunningham, a senior at Headland High School, signed to play baseball for the Commodores.

With his 6′4″ frame, Cunningham will add a solid arm to the Commodores rotation.

The righty says he keeps it simple when it comes to his pitches. Slider, change-up, and a fastball that has topped out around 95 mph.

Cunningham says signing with Vanderbilt is a dream come true.
