OPP, Ala. (WTVY) - It’s win or go home for teams left standing in high school football playoffs and that includes the Opp Bobcats in Class 3A.

Opp goes on the road for a showdown with Montgomery Catholic on Friday. The Knights began the year as one of the favorites to win it all opening the season ranked inside the top five.

The Bobcats are one of just 16 teams left in the running to take home the blue map which means from here on out, no easy games.

In order to be one of the teams to advance on the quarterfinals, the Bobcats know they have to leave it all on the field come Friday.

“We understand we have to play above our level," said head coach Brent Hill. “You can’t think of it like it’s a regular season game and go ‘Well maybe I can hold off and reserve.’ No. You have to give everything you have, you can’t leave any questions, and you just have to play hard.”
