DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Two Henry County commissioners were sworn in today, but they are no strangers to the seat.

County Commissioner District One, Benton Beasley and County Commissioner District Five Greg Reynolds took oath today at the Henry County meeting.

This will be Beasley’s third term in the seat and Reynolds fourth term. They both see issues and challenges the county faces and give thanks to being elected again.

“We are a small county," Beasley said. "We don’t have a lot of money, we are aware of the issues, we know of the road issues and that is our number one concern and we are doing the best we can and we appreciate the citizens, you know, being patient with us.”

“I want to tell all my viewers, especially my district, thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve, be their leader for 16 years,” Reynolds said.

Both candidates say they look forward to help and serve the citizens of Henry County the best they can.
