DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - The 7-3 Dale County Warriors are back in the playoffs for the seventh time in the last nine seasons as they go on the road for the first round to take on Bibb County.

Dale County getting a much needed double overtime win against Straughn two weeks ago to lock up the three seed in Class 4A Region 2.

The Warriors offense has shown signs of greatness this season averaging over 32 points per game. They will try to find ways to score against the Choctaws who give up just a shade under 24 points.

“The biggest challenge is can we ride three and a half hours on a bus and get ready to go,” said head coach Don Moore. “That’s been our biggest challenge is the long trips. That’s what we’ve been harping on our kids about this week is taking that and running with it.”
