DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Although Zeta is far gone, we still have some activity in the tropics that is worth watching.

The tropics within the Caribbean typically become the most active during the months of October and November. With that being said, there remains another area of low pressure to the west of the Lesser Antilles.

The cluster of storms is expected to travel more westward, where it will enter an area of more favorable development, allowing it to possibly become a tropical system by next week.

Weather models are not in total agreement on what situation could play out. Some predictions show it falling apart near the Yucatan Peninsula, others show no development at all. Regardless, there still remains a lot of time for changes to occur, so it will require some very close monitoring.

Keep in mind that hurricane season does not end until November 30.
