Headland businesses getting ready for downtown “Halloween Scream”
HEADLAND, Ala. (WTVY) - Several Wiregrass communities are getting ready for the Halloween holiday, including the city of Headland.
That’s where the annual “Halloween Scream” will take place in the downtown square.
Community organizations will be setting up booths, music and live dance performances, along with trick-or-treating.
Headland Area Chamber Executive Director Adrienne Wilkins encourages everyone to come out and have a great time.
“We’ll also have markers to encourage people to stay six feet apart, practice social distancing, while they’re waiting in line for our trunk-or-treats. But a lot of our small businesses come out and hand out candy and participate, and come together as a community,” Wilkins said.
Halloween Scream is October 31st from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
