Living Hope accepting coats for those in need this Winter
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Winter is on its way and our coats will be a necessity when leaving our homes, but not everyone has that option. That’s why one non-profit is partnering with a local business to help provide a coat for someone in need this season.
Living Hope Community Outreach Center and Eagle Eye Outfitters are partnering to host a Winter coat drive, collecting gently used coats for those in need.
Living Hope helps those living in poverty and who are homeless. The coat drive will be from October 12th through the 17th.
Coats can be dropped off at Eagle Eye or at the ministry. Coordinator Michelle Michel said to some, a coat is a luxury, not a necessity.
“Because of the pandemic, the need is greater this year than ever," Michel. "So if there’s one thing that we can do this winter, to help someone in need, it’s to provide them with a warm coat for the winter season.”
When donating a coat to eagle eye you will receive a thank you for your efforts.
