GENEVA, Ala. (WTVY) - Due to COVID-19 concerns within the program, the Geneva Panthers football team has forfeited this week’s game against the Bullock County Hornets, head coach Les Sanders confirmed the news.

The Panthers (4-4) were set to go on the road to play the Hornets (3-4) and with a win, could have taken that next step to locking up a playoff spot in Class 4A Region 2.

Geneva will now quarantine and will be eligible to return to practice next Wednesday before going on the road to St. James.
