Once known as the Junior Miss Pageant -- the DYW program is a way for high school seniors to pay for college.

The young women participating in the program started practicing in July and the final program took place at the Dothan Opera House on Saturday, September 26. The performance was also streamed on Facebook to meet social distancing requirements.

The 16 women in the program are current seniors in high school and were judged on scholastics, interview, talent, fitness, and self-expression. Winners in each category also received scholarship monies.
