DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - We continue to see overcast skies associated with Tropical Storm Beta. As the days continue, we will still see fall like conditions and cloudy skies.

Tropical Storm Beta remains to our far southwest, but the broad range of circulation it has is allowing us to still see steady cloud cover from it.

As we go throughout the next few days we will still see overcast skies from the storm. It is expected to hover over Louisiana and Mississippi for the next 48 hours, till it makes its way northeast.

Once it is positioned to our north (likely by Friday) we will see a scattered showers branch off the set up. No immediate flood threats or wind threats are expected at this point.

We are still in the peak periods of tropical activity. However, it appears that we are reaching a slight period of calmness. We will continue to monitor the tropics for further updates.
