Two men arrested in connection to multiple burglaries in Geneva, Hartford and Holmes County

HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WTVY) - Two men have been charged Tuesday with four counts of burglary of storage units each, in Bonifay and Esto, Florida.

Holmes County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Tuesday press release, that 44-year-old Michael Ard, Jr., and 18-year-old Stephen Christopher Roy Price, both confessed to the stolen property allegations after being questioned b

y investigators with a search warrant at a Bonifay residence on Sept. 11, 2020.

The stolen property discovered by investigators is believed to be linked with a series of multiple burglaries that took place in Hartford, Geneva, and Holmes County, Florida.

The four burglary charges do not include any ongoing charges that are currently pending for Ard and Price in Alabama as well.

Holmes County Sheriff’s also noted that while conducting the search warrant for Ard and Price, investigators also located a small amount of methamphetamine in a bedroom belonging to 28-year-old Chrishane R. Smith.

Smith was arrested and is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
