DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Hurricane Sally has made her way to landfall.
In Gulf Shores, as the eyewall moved on shore, there was extremely intense wind around 1:00 Wednesday morning. Winds were about 105 miles per hour at that time. With gusts up to 120 mph.
There has been significant damage to the beach and there will be needed repairs to the dunes.
There will be life-threatening flash-flooding throughout Gulf Shores.
The National Hurricane Center says this will cause catastrophic flooding in parts of South Alabama and Northwest Florida.
