COVID issues forces Rehobeth to forfeit football game

Rehobeth, Ala. (WTVY) -COVID has forced Rehobeth High School to forfeit its football game that had been scheduled Friday at Pike Road.

Houston County Superintendent David Sewell confirmed the game won’t be played because Rebel players are quarantined. He did not reveal how many of those students have been affected.

Rehobeth has gone two and two so far this season, with its next game scheduled September 25 at Wicksburg.

Pike Road is undefeated in its four games. Homecoming scheduled Frday been moved until October 2 against Charles Henderson.
