DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Amanda Knight was worried Corndodgers wasn’t going to be able to open this October like they always have.

”But we finally decided you know what we’re outside we’ve got plenty of room and we feel like this year especially people need that. they need to be able to get out be together have fun,” said Amanda Knight, Co-owner of Corndodgers.

She says spacing out on her forty acre property should be easy, but that doesn’t mean they don’t plan to make some changes due to COVID-19.

“We’re actually installing 16 new hand sanitizer stations this year so that we’re able to give you the tools to protect your family as you see fit,” said Knight.

All attractions will be open but there will be limited guests per hay ride and a spaced out food service.

You can still expect...

“The corn crib the corn maze and of course the wagon ride corn cannons jumping pillow and we’ve also added a new attraction called roller bowler which is our take on bowling and the wits end paint ball gallery cause lets all face it at this point in this year we are all at our wits end,”said Knight.

For those worried about big crowds, it’s best to wait for their slow period.

“If you are concerned about the farms the earlier weekends are the less crowded if you wait until the end of October you risk two things one those are our busy two weekend the end of October and goodness knows the weather but if you want to avoid the crowds the best bet is really to come the first couple.”

Face masks aren’t required at this outdoor venue but they are asking that you still socially distance and follow CDC guidelines.

Corndodgers will be open weekends October 3rd through November 1st.
