Ozark Boys and Girls Club looking for volunteers for remote learning program
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - As schools begin to open next week, many students are going back virtually raising concerns for working parents.
The Ozark Boys and Girls Club is hoping to relieve some of that stress for their members.
They are offering a remote online learning program. Every morning from 8:30am till 11am they are designating that time to school work.
“We don’t have a whole lot in Ozark for young children and we have to do what ever it takes to fill that void when the schools announced that they were going all virtual we had to fill that void so she decided that we were going to be open we ran a successful eight week summer program and we said let’s do it again in the fall and let’s be here for the families and the community,” said Jessica Moore - Executive Director.
The Boys and Girls Club is also looking for volunteers to assist with the remote learning program.
If you are interested in volunteering you can contact Jessica Moore at email@example.com or you can call the office at 334-445-0512.
