DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - You hear his voice over the radio and throughout the community. Now “Big” Rick’s hard-work is paying off.

He has been nominated for a CMA Award for small town personality of the year.

To be considered for this award Rick had to put together a composition of his work in the studio and out within the community.

“I am proud to work in the country radio industry it’s very rewarding and this is a testament to the hard-work that i have put in over 20 plus years and i have also been able to be apart of great stations an now that I have arrived here at WTVY radio I think that we can bring some of those accomplishments here and hopefully bring a nomination to the Wiregrass very very soon,” said “Big” Rick Daniels - Program Director.

Big Rick was also nominated for a ACM award earlier this year.

Voting for the CMA Award runs trough the end of October.
